Innovation task


Provoke investigated the target segments using ValueMap® - Provoke MBTI®-based human segmentation toolset - to innovate a completely new product responding to the segment demands for a more design-oriented heater while maintaining or improving steam quality.

Challenge


The interior design boom has affected the sauna industry heavily. People are willing to invest more into sauna heaters, looking for both design and quality of sauna steam.


There is a constant need for more expensive, design-oriented sauna heaters.

Process


A series of workshops was launched. Designers and engineers produced several alternative concepts for a new product.

After careful consideration, the right design theme of a was selected.

Result


The new model was launched with the name Helo Rocher and has enjoyed considerable success.


The unique product maximizes both design and the sauna steam quality.
