Task - Innovative Business Model

Using its experience about global product development, Provoke took over the creation of accessories after the business model was designed together with Tramigo.

Human insight, product concept creation, product development, tooling, manufacturing, package design and final logistics were left to Provoke for core accessories such as installation case for automotive use and rugged splash proof case.

Challenge

Tramigo products allow consumers to track the location and manage their vehicle with their mobile phone and be notified when unexpected events such as a kidnapping, accident or break-in occur.

Tramigo used Provoke to create the industrial and mechanical design for their T22 tracking device. After launch, accessories needed to be created. Planning and supervising the accessories creation in a global project takes time.

Process

Product concepts were created by Provoke and approved by Tramigo. Provoke took care of selecting the right manufacturing partners in China and handled the ramp-up and logistics to Tramigo globally.

Innovation, design work, tooling, manufacturing and logistics are all covered by Provoke as a turn-key solution.

Result

Accessories are manufactured in Europe and China, then sent to Tramigo logistics centers. Business model enabled Tramigo to stay focused on its core business.

Tramigo has now outsourced more accessories to Provoke.
